Thomas Enhco wins the 3rd Prize at the 2010 Martial Solal International Jazz Piano Competition and the
"New Talent" award at the Django d'Or 2010.

Une fin d'année 2010 chargée en actualité pour Thomas Enhco. Et heureuse en événements : 3ème Prix du Concours International de Piano Jazz Martial Solal fin octobre, Thomas s'est vu remettre le 27 novembre dernier le Django d'Or - Nouveau Talent 2010. Une belle reconnaissance pour ce pianiste qui s'impose comme un artiste avec lequel il faudra compter sur la scène jazz internationale.
Il préparera courant 2011 un nouvel album en compagnie notamment de Chris Jennings et Nicolas Charlier.
Cette année l'emmènera, en trio, duo et solo, au Liban, en Syrie, en Jordanie, au Japon, en Corée, à Bali, en Russie, au Canada, en Grèce, en Nouvelle-Calédonie, en Roumanie et en Chine, ainsi que dans de nombreux festivals français.

A busy end-of-the-year 2010 for Thomas Enhco. And full of happy events: 3rd Prize at the Martial Solal International Jazz Piano Competition at the end of October, he also received, on November 27th, the Django d'Or - New Talent 2010. A great recognition for this pianist who is establishing himself as an artist to follow on the international jazz scene.
He is preparing a new album for 2011 featuring, notably, Chris Jennings and Nicolas Charlier.
This new year will take him, in trio, duo and solo, to Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Japan, Korea, Bali, Russia, Canada, Greece, New Caledonia, Romania and China, as well as in many French festivals.

Quatre ans après la sortie de son premier album Esquisse (mars 2006), Thomas Enhco revient en trio avec un nouvel opus, "Someday My Prince Will Come", produit par l'un des plus grands producteurs de jazz au Japon et paru en juillet 2009 sur le tout nouveau label japonais Blue in Green.
Composé de trois des plus talentueux jeunes musiciens français, ce trio mêle les héritages du jazz et de la musique classique avec une complicité et une énergie débordantes, emmené par son leader, tour à tour fin mélodiste, improvisateur fougueux et compositeur inspiré.

Four years after the release of his first album, "Esquisse" (March 2006), Thomas Enhco's second album, "Someday My Prince Will Come", produced by one of the most important music producers in Japan, was released in July 2009 by the Japanese label Blue in Green.
Made up of three of the most gifted young french musicians, the trio mingles the heritage of jazz and classical music with energy and complicity, lead by Thomas Enhco : part melodist, part spirited improviser, part inspired composer.

Thomas Enhco a été découvert par l'un des plus grands producteurs de jazz japonais, M. Itoh "88" Yasohachi. Ce dernier ne s'est pas trompé sur le talent précoce et exceptionnel de ce jeune artiste, qui démontre dans ce second album des qualités de mélodiste, d'improvisateur et de compositeur inspiré.
Avec la sortie de ce CD, ce jeune pianiste français entame une carrière prometteuse au Japon. C'est avec son trio composé de jeunes musiciens à découvrir, le batteur Nicolas Charlier et le bassiste Joachim Govin, qu'il a été invité à plusieurs reprises dans les grandes villes japonaises.
Il me paraissait indispensable d'attirer l'attention du grand public de jazz sur un des jeunes musiciens les plus talentueux et prometteurs de la scène musicale française.

On discovering Thomas Enhco's first CD, one of the top Japanese jazz producers, Mr. Itoh "88" Yasohachi, decided to produce this, his second album. Mr. Yasohachi has acknowledged in this gifted young artist an exceptionally talented melodist, improviser and composer.
The launch of this CD has started a promising career in Japan for this young French pianist. He and the excellent young musicians in his group - Nicolas Charlier on drums, and Joachim Govin on double-bass - have been invited to perform in several major Japanese venues.
It is essential that Thomas Enhco, one of the most inspired and promising young musicians on the French musical scene, be brought to the attention of all jazz lovers.
